do you think it makes good sense, and do you think it is justified for the government to throw people behind iron bars, break up families, and take people's money for getting high in the privacy of their own home? i happen to think it's a little nazi-ish, but that's just me. what do you think?

obviously i've substituted "throw people behind iron bars, break up families, and take people's money" for the word "illegal". when we ask ourselves "should this be illegal?", ask yourself the same question using the description i gave instead, because it's the same thing.

You know the law right.
So if your breaking the law... then whos responisible for breaking up families and putting people behind bars? Blaming others for your actions is irresponsible. Laws are there to protect the people of the US from the people of the US

Apparently your privacy was compromised. If you don't ask, don't tell, you also don't make inuendos. Also maybe one needs to pick ones friends more carefully, especially when breaking a known law.
(I've been known to gamble in my home from time-to time also)

I would tend to agree unless there are endangerment issues with children in the house.

i think its bull phit and they don't care if your getting high ,they only care there not getting your money by taxing it, money is the only thing they care about not you,the state gets money for you from the fed gov when you are behind bars! so thats why they care.
