my hot water heater, leaks around the P&T valve, not the P&T valve itself, but under the heater lid. c an som

It will probably be cheaper to replace the unit, as it is most likely not as energy efficient as newer models.

try to tighten the valve,if that does not do it,it may have a crack in it

it might not be leaking, it might be condensation. either way i would call someone who deals with HVAC
