1.The media tryed to smear Bill O'reilly as a racist. I listened to his radio show that day. He was trying to say that racism is stupid, & that White people shouldn't be scared to go into black neighborhoods.
2.Rush Limbaugh. I don't like Rush Limbaugh, but I think he was right in his commentary about the Democrats using phony soldiers to further their anti-war agenda. But most of the people in the media are slamming him for his comments.
3.Larry Craig. The media is covering the Larry Craig incident to make the Republicans look like stupid hypocrites. In 1989 Massachusetts Democratic Rep. Barney Frank admitted a lengthy relationship with a male hooker who ran a bisexual prostitution service out of Frank's apartment. What Barney frank did was much worse then what Larry Craig did. And he is still in congress, & gets interviews on television.

1) The media exposed what O'Reilly said. He's the one who came across as a pinhead at best and a racist at worst. So don't blame the media.

2) It doesn't look good to bash servicemembers, especially when you never served. Clearly there are real soldiers who oppose the war, just as there are real soldiers who believe in the mission. What Rush Limbaugh said was vile, and he deserves condemnation. If a leftie commentator had called them phony soldiers, conservatives would be calling for his/her head.

3) Larry Craig has voted time and time again to deny gays civil rights--he has a virulently homophobic voting record. As for Barney Frank's partner in the 1980s, Frank apparently was unaware of what his roommate was doing, and once he found out, he tossed the guy out on his butt. I don't judge the Republicans by Craig's acts; I only judge Craig.

There's a whole lot of conservative dirt that doesn't get mentioned in the so-called liberal media, while every misstep a liberal or Democrat takes gets endless coverage. One example showing the media are conservative? Howard Dean's scream being played over and over on CNN in the days after it occurred.

1>The media allowed the Swift Boat Veterans to smear John Kerry who volunteered to go to Vietnam and serve his country while George W. Bush stayed at home because his daddy pulled some strings.
2> Fox News called the 2000 election for George W. Bush even after CNN and other networkds had called it for Al Gore. There was very little, if no media coverage at all of Florida's turning over the voter rolls to a private company called DBT who took people off the rolls when they had every right to vote.
3> The media failed to question the Bush Administration and their shaky "evidence" leading up to the invasion of Iraq in 2003.

Well duh.......I hope you haven't just figured this out. This has been going on for years. What's been really nice about this recent limbaugh issue is that alot of people, who for what ever reason, has never listened to limbaugh, have been tuning in just to see what all the flack was about. What they're finding is that the Dems have been exposed for what they really are..a bunch of lieing hypocrites who aren't concerned about telling any truth. I hope they keep this up for months...it's been hillarious listening to these idiots spew the lies about rush when all they have to do is spend 5 minutes reading, or listening to the original transcripts to find out what was really said. They can't do it....Pretty scary to think that these libs can't even get this right......makes you wonder what other stuff they are voting on without even knowing the facts.
