When ever i use a shell function, it show cmd.exe in the taskbar until the command is finished. How can i hide that?

Just hide the taskbar.

VB puts that notation on the taskbar as part of the Windows API.

i think if u use a ",vbhide" at the end of the code its working
like Shell "what u want!!", vbHide
