Two days ago. I'd lost my old body hammer, and had bought a new one some months back. I was stoked to find my old hammer in a box while cleaning out my garage.
There's something about how an old tool feels in your hand. I can't explain it. I'll always reach for the tools I've had since I was a teenager, even though they're not as good quality as the ones I've purchased since then.
And you women thought you had the market cornered on sentimentality.

This morning. Sister in law phoned to say her bike had broken and she was in the village. Threw some tools in a bag (including hammer) but only needed a screwdriver.
