I posted a question up the other day about how I was bleeding lightly 2 weeks after my period. Since then, it has turned into a full-blown period. I'm so confused as to why this has happened, I've never bled mid-cycle before. I honestly can't think of a reason why it has happened, I haven't changed my diet, etc. Do you think I could justify a visit to the Doctors even though this is the first time it's happened?

Also, when I was bleeding lightly, people were saying I should take a pregnancy test... would this still be the case? I haven't taken one yet.

Thanks in advance,
xXx

I think you need to go to a doctor. The first thing that comes to mind is that you had a miscarriage.

No you have a heavy flow like a regular period, you can rule out pregnancy.
However, I would go to the doctor because sometimes there is a possibility of a miscarriage. I'm not saying that's what you have, I'm just saying that's what it might be. However, you should go to the doctor just be sure. call the office and they may jus even let you speak with the doctor, and the he or she can then determine if they need to see you.

I think you should make an appointment with your doctor. If you are nearing menopause age it could be your body adjusting itself, if you could have been pregnant it may related to a miscarriage in either case you may need a DNC but it is really a question for a qualified practitioner, if in the UK your GP or local family planning clinic. Good Luck

No need to do pregnancy test. Wait to see what the next few months bring. The chances are that things will settle down again. If not, see your GP. You could have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, but sometimes we just get hormonal upheavals for no apparent reason.

Go to the docs. It's probably nothing but that's what they are there for.
I wouldn't imagine you are pregnant though.
