i heard there is a new law that is either passed or is in the process..its a driving law.. i heard that its either

--if you were born after january 1, 1993, you have to wait until you have 16 to get your permit

or

--if you do not have your permit by january 1st 2008, you have to wait until you're 16 to get your permit

clarification.. the second option..

if you were born in 92/91 and already have your permit, you're fine, but if you aren't 15 and a half and already have your permit you can't get it until you're 16

ok ontario, i've had a bad day so please shut up. driving does not require figuring out life. i have open enrolled at a school and it is a burden for my mom to have to drive me out of the way to school everyday. i dont want my license to go out and get plastered, i want it to help other people, still think i dont know what "life" is about yet?

Check with your state's website. It's probably a department of transportation site. Here's Oklahoma's site:

I'm surprised you can get a learners permit before you are 16. I'm from Ontario, which is not far from Ohio, and don't understand why you will be able to drive before you even figured out what life is anyway. Teens need to settle down before they drive 1 ton + weapons.
