Y is my internet background white?

My mom was messing with stuff on my computer. Now all the backgrounds of every website I visit it white. How do I fix this?

If you're using Firefox, under Options, under Content, there's an option to let websites choose their own colors instead of your defaults...did that get changed? ... Not being an IE user, and thus not deserving your points IF YOU ARE, I don't know how to find the same setting in IE
