There are several things you can do to get more space on your drive.
1) Go to the Add/Remove Software inside of Control Panel and look for programs that you do not use. Delete any that you have either stopped using, or have never used. Do not delete the Windows updates, as you will then have to reinstall all of those.
2) If you have a lot of video, picture, or song files on your drive - which is likely if you have filled up 90Gb of space.
You can burn the files to a CD or DVD and then remove all but those you use often. In this way you have a copy should you want it, but you are not filling up drive space with a song, pic or video that you no longer view.
3) If you have not done so - run the disk defragmentor program that comes with windows. You can find this in the accesory folder, under system tools. This should be run on a regular basis, as it will take all the little pieces of drive that are left when you move or delete files, and combine them together to make large areas of free space on your drive.
4) If you use software from AOL or Compuserve - besides having my pity, look to see if you have multiple copies of the software on your machine. I have seen machines with as many and 8 copies of AOL - each taking up a large piece of the drive. You only need one copy running, unless you have more than one master account on your machine, which is rare.
5) This same thing can happen with any software, Adobe, I-Pod, Limewire - if the upgrade program installs the new version into a different folder than the original version. Thus leaving an old copy you no longer use to take up space.

If you really wanna know what's taking up space, get JDisk Report from http://www.jgoodies.com/freeware/jdiskreport/ It's Freeware. That will show what files are taking up what space on your drive. It's a very good space management helper.

do not trouble approximately enormous areas between blocks of archives. Defragging is approximately making archives extra contiguous and subsequently less difficult and faster to get entry to. Having areas between blocks does not inevitably reason it to be slower than if there grew to become into not areas between blocks.
