why does my period come every 3 weeks and not every 4?

ok im 15 and ive been havin periods since i was 12 and it used to be every 4 weeks now recently it had started to come every 3 weeks why is this? is there something wrong wid me? am i not fertile or something? plz answer cus this is bothering me?

for example my period came on the 10th of september and lasted for 5 days and now 2day it has come again?

That would be a 25-day cycle, which is short, but normal. It's only 3 days less than the 28-day day cycle. You're still young. There's a very good chance that by the time you're 20, your cycle may be 28-30 days long. Your hormones are still regulating themselves. I'm sure you are still fertile!

If you're so concerned, make an appt. with a gynecologist. You can ask all the questions you want. Stop stressing, OK? Eveything 's gonna be fine. :)

What the first poster said is true.

It is also possible that your cycle has regualted and your period is going to come every three weeks. 28 days is just the average length of a cycle, some women get their periods every 21 days and others get it every 35 days, as long as you get it between 21 days (and I believe) 40 days, then you are considered normal. If your period comes every 21 days, then your cycle is 21 days long, some people just have shorter cycles than others.

As always, if you are very worried you can talk to your doctor, but it doesn't seem to be anything to worry about.

There is absolutely nothing at all wrong with you or your fertility I assure you. Instead of having a 28-day cycle, yours is probably a 24-day cycle like mine. If anything, you will be MORE fertile - more ovulatory days. I had seven pregnancies!!!

When you're young, your periods will be very irregular. I'm 22 and they are finally regular. If you are really concerned see a doctor just in case.
