I am a scorpio and we are very difficult. So difficult that the our sexual appetites are extremely hard to meet. We are sly and cunning suspicious of everything. We are over analytical and a cigar is not a cigar.

My longest relationship is with a pisces and aires. But the Aires and I fought all the time. Aires and I are both ruled by Mars (ruler of the house of power) and Scorpios have little pluto which give us the Ruler of the house of Sex. We like good fights because make up sex is out of control. But know that everything else that is inside us can drive most signs nuts.

We are loyal and trust worthy but do not give a reason to mistrust you or you will pay a piper that you have never seen before. We are marriage material if you want something long term but the minute we get bored in the sack c-ya there buddy. And you have to hold up smart conversation otherwise well get that from someone else. Sex and Brain and looks.

I'm not quite sure why people rant about Scorpios so much as they are generally very warm and kind hearted people if u treat them in that way. If u scare from the truth then Scorpio is not for you. If u hate lies, then Scorpio may not be for you. They're intense, will play mind games and try to manipulate and dominate you in different ways to see where they stand with you then play out a great role as friend, partner lover of any kind. You alwayyys have to show how much u care and love them. Do not mess around with a Scorpio, they good people with very strong wills.

I've been with my Scorpio for almost a year and a half. It's definitely been said that to love him, you have to really like him too. He can be a handful, but he's worth it all. The game playing and manipulation is to test your love and loyalty. Until they are sure without a doubt that you're true and devoted, they will always be suspicious. Also, they need a very strong partner who has self-respect and can stand up to them. Someone who can match their strength and passion. Therefore, they will try and break down every wall you have to uncover the truth. They surely want your mind, body, heart and soul. They are not be taken lightly. You must stand your ground and not let them get out of hand with you. If you allow them to walk all over you, they will take advantage of it. Don't get me wrong, they can give you the kind of love you only see in movies and read about.........but they must know for certain that you are worth their time and effort. They can be sweet, caring, loyal, protective, understanding, accepting and forgiving. They are secretive, but it's nothing bad against you, unless they truly don't love you. They are not ones to easily verbalize their real feelings for you, but you will feel it and see it, although they can be quite subtle.

Listen to Michelesnow. I'm a Scorpio (born on Halloween) and we are not easy. We have doubts and we have confidence, we have a need to be with people, but to be with these people from a distance. Loyalty, that is a word for Scorpios, but don't betray us, don't lie to us, we will find out and then we will hurt you and we will feel nothing afterward. But its like the other person said her father loved her mother and when her mother died he felt her pain and probably still does. Scorpios are very protective and will do anything to keep there promises they expect you to do the same. if scorpio ask for time alone respect it do not question it, Scrpio's will also be some of the best liers that you will ever meet but they only lie if they need to. They do not cheat and if they fall in love they will do anything!

Here's the deal... Scorpios are noted as being one the most (if not THE most) loyal, protective, loving, warm, etc... signs. If they love you, they're completely devoted and would die and kill for you (literally... don't try to test it, or you'll regret it...). Extremely sensitive, extremely understanding, extremely compassionate, empathetic to an extreme (way beyond mere sympathy), good with kids and animals and the whole lot, etc...

However, the Scorpio warpath stereotype (which so many people here seem to dwell on) comes out if they feel betrayed, taken advantage of, etc... If you're not 100% committed to the relationship, they WILL pick up on it. Yes, people often say "I love ___ sooo much!", but such things are simply trite to Scorpios. If they don't think you'd live and die for them (as they would you), then they'll start tearing down every last one of your defenses to uncover the truth. Scorpios *rarely* cheat (statistically, Scorpios are the least likely of EVERY astrological sign to cheat on a partner, as well as the least likely to have sex outside of a committed relationship... so if they do cheat on you then, well, your relationship is gone). They want to know every one of your secrets, but won't let you know theirs (though theirs are generally just personal feelings... Scorpios rarely if ever let their guard down enough to make any kind of "mistake" that others would deem secret-worthy, and thus usually have very clear pasts). Often, this doesn't go over well with many people. They DO NOT lie... if they talk about something, you can almost guarantee they're being honest. However, they will often conceal the truth (though once again, the truth they're concealing is their FEELINGS about a situation, not something they did or didn't do).

Scorpios are one of the two most intuitive signs (along with Pisces). They're also one of the two most emotional (along with Cancer). But they don't always let on how they really feel. If they're with you, they *need* to be with you, whether they ever tell you or not (if they didn't, they wouldn't be wasting their time or emotional energy). Most people want their partner's heart... Scorpios want your soul. If you give it to them, they'll happily give you theirs. If you're as committed to the relationship as they are, they're possibly the most devoted, warm, kind, gentle, and loving sign. If you're not (or it doesn't seem like you are... but based on more emotional/intuitive levels than physical), they'll rip you to shreds in an effort to find out for certain. And "committed" NOT based on typical relationship standards, but based on Scorpio standards (ie: think Romeo and Juliet... maybe a *little* more intense).

Basically, if you're loving and and devoted to them, they'll return it times 10. If you're the tiniest bit NOT, then they'll return that times 10, too.

OH LORDDDDDDD this is a loaded question for me.. Ok first off both my parents were scorpions and we had our usual problems but basically everything was good. I have a friend who is one and we have been friends for like 40 years and no problems...NOW.. I was married to a scorpion..what a huge mistake. He first off mentally abused me and stripped me of who I was and he did it so sly that I never recognized it. He was extremely jealous, he cheated on me with I believe the whole town it seemed like. He lied all the time about everything. If he said it was a sunny day you better look outside cause quarantee it was raining. He , I swear could tell you word for word what our very first fight was about and ever single word I said. We had a son together and he too is a scorpion and unfortunately he is like his father. They say the only person a scorpion deserves is another scorpion. maybe thats why my parents were married for 60 years.

These are all very good answers I think as a scorpio gal. i recently dated one and boy was he intense, all the crap he pulled! It was like looking in a mirror! He was obsessed w languages, science and art and he was well versed in all aspects of them from the culture of the language to how to speak it. his job was in science the medical field (he disected for a living)- knew everything about every science from physical- biology to crazy physics! art he knew all these forms of art and crafts, musical and photography... so forth if it interested him he was OB-SESSED! he was v independent, super sexy and a freaking fantastic lover, but he would of made a much better lover if he wasn't so tortured. he was sweet but he was so distant as he started to fall, he was kind of like a mean (but overly gifted haha) little boy! i started to be sly about my questions and putting things together- obviously his childhood was rather lonely and cold. though he was charming, social and quite the ladies man...
my best friend is one from a loving background and he is very much like me and that boy i dated. he's obsessed w international business (thats what he does for a living), his thing is partying and "hot mamas"! hes hilariously intense, though he shows affection i think its mainly felt when i walk into a room w him in there. he is all about marriage and family and he'll make someone very happy one day- but that probably wont be for a while w all the hot mamas around! but since we're just friends he has definitely been my guardian angel all my life and is dedicated and protective of me like a husband!
