No, but the other day I was at a wedding and had to wear those fancy shoes, the ones that KILL your feet!! They hurt so much that I just took em off and danced barefoot the rest of the night lol.

Dammit yes!!! I remember back in the day when I was doing the in class sessions of a driving course and had to walk like 10 blocks downtown afterwards. I started walking when my sandal platform broke, and unlike small flip flops that you can just poke right back through the hole and wear it for a little while longer, these things were huge and heavy and no wya could i fix it. I didnt want to look like a complete fool so I walked barefoot downtown the entire way!!! Im glad I didnt get hepatitis!!!

Yes, it happened to me at the free Smashing Pumpkins concert from a few years ago... probably 1997?? I was crowd surfing & my clunky flip flops both fell off. I then had to walk around barefoot in downtown Minneapolis for a while. I was luckily too young to know or care how dirty it was.

No, I'm always barefoot by choice but even when I still wore shoes, I can't recall ever having to go barefoot when I didn't mean to. If I ever lost or broke a shoe, I don't remember!

Yes, but I was at work, so I had to hobble down the street to the shoe store, buy a new pair, and then (in my now blistered feet and brand new shoes), hobble 3 blocks the other direction to the shoe doc to have the broken ones repaired. Nightmare!

Yes, I have. I have also left the house in what seemed like a nice new pair of shoes and have them hurt my feet so bad, that I have pulled them off and walked barefoot...I did that one day in Lowes and some man made me put them back on. He was afraid I would hurt my feet....that floor felt so cool to my aching feet.....they seemed comfortable at home but we were walking a lot that day, so my feet may have swelled. It was embarrassing..

why not go barefoot as often as possible.
For me-a broken shoe is a good excuse.
Of course I live in florida-so a broken sandle could be considered lucky..
