Go to Amazon.com and buy the "for Dummies" book series for whatever you're interested in learning, then from there look for more advanced books on the subject(s), of interest.
Focus on those books that come with an interactive cd so that you can do actual learning exercises off of your pc.
Another option is to check out the junior college classes on those subjects of interest being held in your local area. Usually these are very good, and reasonably priced too.
