That school was forced to either take down the decor or hang Ramadan decor right beside it. They're also not allowed to call it Halloween anymore, it's now "fall festival." Christmas is now "winter festival." Ridiculous. We're PCing the childhood right out from under our children.

No. I love Christmas...why do you "assume" that just because I am a Democrat that I want to destroy Christmas? If you are talking about stores using the slogan Merry Christmas, I think it is ridiculous that people are putting pressure on stores to say certain things. I think the stores should be fair to all of their costumers who shop there and write slogans like happy holidays because many religions have winter holidays. Or the could have merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah and happy Kwanzaa signs but no one should put pressure on them to do this if they do not want to. I agree that you cannot cancel Christmas and I would not want to. No one does.

There is a difference between having a war on Christmas and trying to defend various religions from neocon attacks.
Just because I choose not to be a Christian does not mean that I am attacking your right to believe as you wish. Just because I defend my neighbor's right not to be a Christian, does not mean that I am attacking your right to believe as you wish.
