Kickers usually don't make into the hall of fame. Ray Guy should definately be in the Hall of Fame he was a great player. I have been a Raider fan all of my life and he is on my top 10 list of my all time favorite Raiders. I wish I could find a Ray Guy Throwback Jersey.

It is hard for punters to get elected. I agree with you. Back in the 70's there were very few punters that could punt the ball longer or higher than Ray Guy. Watching the hang time clocks back then was fun.

punters never get credit as full time players.
That is his obstacle and like the person that said who is Ray is a problem in the meida. no one knows history any longer.

Because idiots like Peter King (who's public campagin to keep Art Monk out should automatically disqualify him as a voter) continue to argue that punters are not worthy of being recognized.
