final evening on activities midsection Steve Philips became asked whether or no longer he believed the Cubs have been the ideal group in baseball. He reported they're enjoying the ideal baseball, have an extremely stable group, yet might nonetheless checklist a pair of different golf equipment merely before them as being the ideal. i'm a die frustrating Cubs fan to the tip, yet will would desire to trust what he reported. i think of the Cubs have between the main properly rounded golf equipment in baseball. they have an incredible lineup, spectacular bullpen and an above widely used rotation. Will the Cubs win all of it this year? basically time will tell. the stable element is you do no longer would desire to be the ideal group in baseball to win the WS. look at 2006. i rather have faith the Cardinals weren't the ideal group in baseball, yet they performed the ideal while it mattered maximum. comparable is going for 2003 while the Marlins crowned the Yankees. The Cubs have had a quite user-friendly time table subsequently some distance. optimistically the momentum and self belief they have equipped will proceed to hold them. they'll desire it come September while they play sixteen out of 25 video games on the line inclusive of seven today to end the season.

Hm. I have to ask. How long have you been a baseball fan? I ask because it ain't done yet. The Cubs haven't been eliminated yet. Teams coming back from being down 2-0 are REAL common compared with being down 3-0. You COULD be a little abashed a few days from now if Murphy's law is applied.

They will blame it on Pinella for pulling Zambrano after only 85 pitches in a 1-1 game!

As Harry Carey would say, " namtraB"

He'd tell it like it is, the just plain and simple. They can't hit and got beat by better pitching and a better team. All the while swilling down another Bud.

I'd guess a Bartman type incident will occur. But they'd lose just simply cuz they're not any good.
