I think it will be a good series but I'm sure the obvious bias of stations like ESPN wouldn't think so b/c unless it's a team from New York Boston or any team from California they treat other teams like they don't matter & that it will gurantee horrible ratings.

It'd be the first ever between expansion teams; since 1962 (first year both leagues had new franchises), here's the expansions that have reached the Series (championships):

Mets 4 (2 -- 1969, 1986)
Royals 2 (1 -- 1985)
Brewers 1
Padres 2
Blue Jays 2 (2 -- 1992, 1993)
Marlins 2 (2 -- 1997, 2003)
Diamondbacks 1 (1 -- 2001)
Angels 1 (1 -- 2002)
Astros 1

Rangers, Nationals, Mariners, Rockies, Devil Rays -- zero

I think the greatest baseball showdown involving the Rockies was Monday's tiebreaker game. I can only imagine another great game being game 7 of the World Series with a Rockies win.

GO ROCKIES!

With two expansion teams...I doubt it; but it should be exciting to watch; they seemed to be evenly matched.
If Rockies make the finals it would be quite a different ballgame playing the Yankees or the Indians. Lets see. Go Rockies!

Let me see, two mediocre teams meeting in the playoffs during an extreme down year for the National League. That would have to be a........no!

The best ever was the 1980 Phillies - Astros NLCS. Nothing has come close since!

I'd say no, merely because I think that it will be very similar to the 3-game series that the two teams played at the end of the year. I don't really call lopsided games "great." In my opinion, great games and series are ones that are pitched really well and the win is actually earned. I find it unlikely that that will happen in this series.

No, but the Rockies will win.

They're both expansion teams. Does that answer your question? Good.
