from the site www.vpcalendar.net/3_Columns/Calendar_8.html

Not only being a SUNDAY, but it is also St. Patrick's Day on March 17.

A perpetual calendar was used to determine this info. There are 14 such calendars, based on the Gregorian system we use today--7 calendars for non-leap years (1 for each day of the week), and 7 for leap years (also 1 each for each day of the week)--and are numbered from 1 to 14.
