Ok, I got my last period on Sept 8th, it lasted like 6 days, I got positive OPKs on Sept 22 and 23 so ovulation was probably on Sept 23 or 24. Period is due around the 8th again. I have a First Response test, but I dont want to waste it by taking it too early. At the same time, Im so anxious, I hate waiting. When should I test?

I know about the anxiousness! Wait till your period is late but in the mean time (if this helps at all) you can use this site to see if you have any pregnancy symptoms (there are 25! signs) this helped me ease the anxiousness. There are also other things on this site that can teach you about being a future mom! Good-luck!

If your period is pretty regular, then I would test 1-2 days after it is due. If your period is irregular, I would suggest waiting at least a week after its due. I have very irregular periods and ended up waisting 4 pregnancy tests before I got a positive one. I know you are anxious to know, but try to hang in there or know that you might end up spending more money on another test. Good luck and I hope that everything works out!!

I'm just like you! My last period was September 8th and I can't wait to test but I did a promise that I won't test until sunday, anyway I think I will have to test tomorrow because I think I'm pregnant and because I had a short luteal phase I'm afraid that if I keep waiting, in case that I'm pregnant, I will have a miscarriage (I had one in August due to my short luteal phase) so if I test tomorrow and it's positive I can go to see my doctor right away to get progesterone.
Try to test sunday or monday and a lot of baby dust for you!

I'm in the same shoes, i got my period on the 8th of sept as well, only i'm expecting mine to start on the 6th so its tomorow, i took a test on the 30 of sept. and got a Negative (offcourse) well, i dont know when to test again but i will probably try to last until tomorrow and just wait to see if my period showes up if not i will test the next day. To you i would say wait dont test yet, because it would just make you sad if it will come negative, so wait until monday if you dont get your period test on tuesday. I know all about anxiousness and pregnancy tests...lol. There are some test that can detect pregnancy 5 or 6 days before your missed period. Check the box and see what yours says. If I were in your shoes I would probably peeing on it right now....lol. Good Luck!!!

When I validated (I am 27 wks preggo), I validated at night time overdue and acquired a faint optimistic. Then the following morning with FMU I acquired a BFN. Then approximately 2p I could not stand it and took a FRER and acquired a BFP. By 10p that night time I acquired a BFP on an equate constant scan AND a virtual one. Tests are costly and it does not harm to attend two days to scan. If BFN then, it's commonly bad. However, you under no circumstances understand!

I would test on October 8th. That would make you 2 days late (if you have 28 day cycles) and 14 DPO. Good Luck!

Typcially about 3 days before your period. I would take it tomorrow am (the first pee is the best). If it says no, then take another way in the middle of the week.

well, you are 12 DPO now, so I would say take it in the morning with first morning urine to get the most concentrated urine, and the most accurate response.
