Assuming your husband no longer lives in Florida as well, then Florida lost jurisdiction over your marriage a few months after you moved. If you both live in New York state, then NY has jurisdiction. Sorry to hear it didn't work out.

You can get a divorce In New York, I was married in Boston, and got a divorce here in Brooklyn, New York were I live now.

Agreed with previous. You dont have to go back to FLA to finish it out. You should get an attorney though...even if its not a "messy divorce"...just to make sure everything is covered 100% from the legal standpoint. Papers can be entered and recorded legally by local courts.

As long as you are a resident of New York (drivers license, voting, job, etc) you can get a divorce according to NY laws.
