Since you actually have a Native American background, this is one of the few cases where Cheyenne would be an acceptable, rather than randomly trendy, choice. It's still not my favorite, but only because of all the people who do use it for absolutely no reason other than "it sounds pretty" (often misspelled Shyann or something to boot ... which is just sad LOL).

I'd personally look to honor my heritage with something a bit less common. Aylen, Citlali or Naira, for example. But that's just me. ;)

That's a cute and pretty name. I like it! Do you have ideas for middle names? I like
Cheyenne Leigh (pronounced "Lee")
Cheyenne Rose
Cheyenne Grace
Cheyenne Nicole
Cheyenne Kathleen
Just some ideas! Hope this helps! :)

Cheyenne's okay,I think it's better as a middle name. I'm not fond of Cheyenne Rose, but other than that it's cute. How about Teyla Cheyenne?

I think its a lovely name especially for people with a Native American background. I also like Dakota and Cree as names. :)

I like that name! And I love that you chose the original spelling instead of trying to be "unique" by spelling it some other way (like Shyann or Shiane or Shianne or Chianne).

Cheyenne is beautiful!

There's not a whole lot to do there. Laramie is better because of UWyo, or you might try Caspar, which has a lot more to offer. Jackson Hole, though, beats them all.

Of course, if you really DO like Cheyenne, then by all means, live there.

P.S. What's this have to do with "Baby Names"?

I think it's a great idea! (One of my best friends is named that, with the same spelling. She's a really fun person to be around, by the way. (: )
