If you don't want new ones....a lot of places that take the old appliances sit them outside for someone to take for free. You could use that till you could save the money to buy good appliances. I know when I married my husband there was nothing wrong with our stove other than he likes gas and I like electric. My parents bought us an electric stove as a wedding gift and his stove went away with the guys that put my new stove in. That place does what I say...puts the appliances outside for someone to take...that also saves them money! Also look at the grocery store in the free add section...there are usually people wanting to give an old appliance away. I know our local "merchandiser" paper always has appliances in it for free or cheap. I wish you luck!
