I just got a new job and have to take a drug test, but its my time of the month, can i still take the drug test? I was thinking about asking if i could postpone it but would that look bad? A friend said not to postpone it because that would look like i need time to get drugs out of my system.

Just take the test. It won't make any difference (although you should tell the person that you have your period). If you wear a tampon, you won't bleed into the sample.
Postponing will make you look like you are waiting for drugs to leave your body.

You can still take the drug test it's fine. I'd just try to avoid getting blood in the sample that could be embarassing. But do not ask for it to be postponed they most likely will not let you and it would make you look bad.

do not postpone it because it seems like you would be trying to get drugs out of your system. you can take the drug test even if "aunt flo" is visiting. however...do you use tampons or pads? if you use tampons, there shouldn't be a problem. if you use pads, and blood gets into the urine sample, it will taint the sample.
i used to work in a drug rehabilitation center and anytime the girls would get blood into their sample, it would make the sample invalid. all that means is that you will have to go back and re-test. since it's for a job, it shouldn't be a problem though, it happens all of the time.

Most times a drug test is performed, it is done by taking a sample of hair. If it is by drawing blood, then you won't have to worry either. However, if it is by urine there won't be a problem, but I would bring it up when I go to take the test. Like I said, it won't affect the outcome of the test. If the collector is male, they tend to get kind of squeamish, but otherwise it's okay. Don't ask to have it postponed, but do let your female observer know.

They want make sure, if you are not on drug or smoke weed any kinds that you have. They want take your urine test or cut one piece the hair for drug test. It will take few days get result when your employer will tell you if you get a job those times.

What kind of a drug test? If it is a urine test, I would definitely postpone it and explain why.

THE FACT THAT YOU GOT YOUR PERIOD IS IRRELEVANT THEY WOULD BE TESTING FOR DRUGS NOT RED BLOOD CELLS! Do not ask to post pone it will look bad.
