i accidently bounced a check?

i accidently wrote a check for the wrong accountant for the amount of $1500 what actions will/can the company i wrote the check to take.

you can cancel the check with your bank before it clears. It will cost you a fee, but it may be appropriate for the situation. The bank may allow the check to clear, but you'll get stuck with an overdraft fee and be in the negative. If the check has already bounced, call the issued of check to explain.

If you wrote the check on the wrong account, can't you just transfer the funds to the right account?
