I will be going to vegas for the 1st time this new years eve. I heard that you can get really bored if you stay longer than 3 days. I will be there for a week and do not want to gamble the whole time. any suggestions so that I can plan for a good trip? It will also be my birthday so I wonder if I can get an upgrade at the Luxor for cheap? Thanks

Bored in Vegas??!! Never! You'll see. Since you're going for New Year's Eve and your b-day, you'll be so caught up in things that your trip will be over before you know it. Here's my advice for a trip: budget appropriately, include enough money for hotel, food, shopping, shows, attractions and yes, gambling. Set limits and stick to them. Don't ever try to 'win back' any losses. Mostly get ready to let loose and forget your daily routines! After all, it's Vegas baby! Check out the websites below for more helpful info. Have fun and good luck!

Well, the entire motels you've got selected are moderately almost eachother and are on the south finish of the strip, maybe that's why you selected them. MGM Grand is certainly one of my favourite motels, I undoubtedly love that inn. The rooms had been mighty and at ease, and so much importantly (to me) the rooms did not odor like smoke. The pool is mighty, the eating places are satisfactory. I have not ever quite noticeable any celebrities there besides for Kurt Thomas and I assuming he was once in Vegas due to the fact he was once traded the day earlier than :) It is the the final give up at the monorail at the south finish and swiftly connects you to the relaxation of the strip. New York New York has an mighty on line casino. I love the whole lot approximately the bottom ground. I have heard the rooms have a tendency to be smaller at this inn. Mandalay Bay is mighty. One of the Southern so much strip motels with mini monorail connecting to Luxor and Excalibur. The inn in its entirety is mighty. Good pool. Luxor offers me vertigo, I will regularly not ever keep there. But the golf equipment are well. LAX is trendy for famous person sitings. You will also see Carrot Top on any given day! : ) My prefer: MGM grand!

New Years Eve in Vegas is Crazy, but you'll have a lot of fun!! You will see that there is sooo much to do! You can go shopping at the outlets! You can also go into each hotel as they each have their own unique designs and things to see! Try to get tickets to see a show if you can! Have fun!

3 days you are right.
I live here now and there's always things to do.
But hotel life and casino can get boring.
There's a million oother things to do but glamor keeps you at the resorts.
Go to Hoover Dam one day. Visit Primm outlets, real cheap. Red Rock is beautiful. Sunset Park is a great place to visit.
The new Preserve is also great.

New Years n the strip is usually a sell out at high prices.
3 days is max if you stay in the strip/tourist area.
People watching New years eve is priceless.
There is so much off strip, you can be busy for weeks.
Red Rock/Hoover Dam/Valley of Fire are the popular tourist stops off strip.

You can walk down and up strip for many times a day, and do people watching, at night, lights watching or go Casino to see people crazy to get rich day and night, and you will see many hot girls and pimps give you smile and phone number to call.

Forget Vegas, go Death valley or Grand canyon.

Upgrade, have $200 ready for 1 night.
