Did Pai Mei snatch out Elle's eye with his crane fist techinque to teach her to call him names?

On Uma Thurman's second Kill Bill sequel when Elle Driver who calls a karate master, Pai Mei a miserable old fool. Beatrix "The Bride" Kiddo who asked her, "What did you say to Pai Mei to make him snatch out your eye?"

No, it did to show him using the craane fist to snatch it out, then you see it in his hand afterwards.

The movie never shows what kind of technique Pai Mei used. It just shows Elle missing an eye and screaming in pain during that scene.

EDIT: As I said before, the scene does not actually show Pai Mei ripping out Elle's eye. It's stated earlier in the movie that Pai Mei already has a dislike against American blondes, so Elle calling him a "miserable, old fool" didn't help her case. Therefore, Pai Mei ripped out her eye because she disrespected him (something Asian people, especially those involved in martial arts, take very seriously). The movie DOES show Beatrix ripping Elle's remaining eye out with a crane move. However, it does NOT show Pai Mei doing it.

I would bet he did it with the same technique as Beatrix, she was his best student after all. She would emulate him also as it would be fitting revenge to have her other eye snatched out in the same fashion by Beatrix. I say Beatrix was his best student as he taught her the five point technique who Bill told her Pai Mei teaches to "no one"
