Heather, that's my name and I like it. I disagree with whoever said it was too common of a name, not really I was born in 1971 and there was only two other Heathers' in my school all through to high school. It isn't over used, I also have younger brothers and sisters ranging all the way to 17 years younger than me and the name Heather does not show up too often.

Go with whatever you decide, but I'm partial to Heather

I actually like both names. Heather was very, very popular for a long time, but I think less so now. That would make it less likely that there would be 2-3 Heathers in class when she goes to school. I like Lorna as well and have had a couple of fine friends named Lorna.

I really like both names but I prefer Lorna - I know a little girl called Lorna who is very cute! Lorna and Heather would be great as sisters.

I don't care for either much. Lorna reminds me of the cookie; Heather is just so stuck in the 1970s. If you're really down to those two, I'd pick Lorna.
