That sounds hilarious! The older kids would love it - you may not want to use it if you see toddlers approaching though - they are very easily scared.

I have done this for years, it's like tradition. I happen to have an old craftsman chainsaw that I found the exhaust could be turned around backwards as to blow out down tword the end of the bar. This blasts hot exhaust on their pant leg and make them feel like they've been got. Just don't blast bare skin.

I guess it all depends on the age of the kids you are talking about? if they are young teens, then I think they would probably find it cool! But, if they are say, 5 thru 10.. they may not like it and the parents many not either!

...if everyone had a great sense of humor and a good sense of what is real or not...I'd say...do it....but no...most parents now are very insecure about things....and kids....little kids can get scared easily...
...basic halloween deco and lighting and sounds...and mainly have some great candy for all the kids...that would be great...

u'll probably scare their parents even more, angering them to no extent.
But I think u should do it, chainsaws are weapons not toys. Maybe there is a kid out there who is in the need to know... lol

I wouldn't scare 3 year olds with it but if you see any kids above, lets say age 12, I'd say, GO FOR IT!

Lol, how about you dress as a scarecrow and sit in the drive way, and when kids get next to you, jump and scream, that'll scared them for sure. (don't do it to the little ones)

You have to do it!!!! My whole front yard is a forest preserve and I want someone to wait in the woods with one!! Then when the kids come to my door, I want them to run out with it...How funny would that be???
