Hi, I'm doing a research paper (12 pages) on Extraterrestrial Life. I'm posting the thought of lifeforms beyond Earth. The pyramids were impossible to be man-made. One block on the pyramids weigh thousands and thousands of pounds (I believe 10-15 tons each). It's been proven that these blocks were impossible to lift with the Egyptians' technology at the time. So, how were the pyramids made? They had to have had help from other beings. What about Gods? Where did ancient civilizations get the ideas for Gods? Maybe the Gods were the other worldly lifeforms. Man went from living in caves to building pyramids?? Na. They had to've had help from something. The Aztecs. An ancient civilization that built great structures. What were these for? What was the point of having these pyramids and everything? Post your thougts about this topic.

As so many others have pointed out, you are mistaken that it has been "proven" that the Egyptians could not have built the pyramids.
While we don't understand every single detail of a construction process that took place thousands of years ago, we do have a fairly good idea how the pyramids of Egypt were constructed based on a variety of evidence and knowledge of the available technology at the time.
I strongly suggest you have a look at "The Complete Pyramids" by Mark Lehner for an excellent overview of pyramid construction, purposes, etc.
Pulleys, ramps, and teams of workers could move large stone blocks. Evidence for the workmen, their quarters, and their actual work is evident at Giza, the best known pyramid field in Egypt. A block in one of the relieving chambers above the "King's Chamber" in the Great Pyramid features an ink inscription in ancient Egyptian referring to a particular gang of workmen. The inscription is in such a position that it could not be a forgery and could not have been inscribed after the block was put in place. (In fact, even viewing it is an awkward process, requiring a mirror and a degree of personal flexibility.)

While the film Stargate and TV series Stargate SG-1 are rather entertaining, the premise that the ancient deities of the world were aliens is a bit ridiculous. Gods and mythology and religion tend to be the human way of coping with and attempting to control a complex world and forces that they do not entirely understand.

Humans did not immediately leave "caves" and suddenly start building monumental architecture. A careful study of the archaeological record shows the gradually increasing complexity of architectural works by a variety of human groups. The gradual development of pyramids during the Old Kingdom in Egypt with roots going back to the Early Dynastic period is well attested.

Pyramids in Egypt were tombs, monuments displaying the might of the king, and functioned as a locus for the rebirth, resurrection, and eternal divine life of the king.

Mesoamerican pyramids functioned primarily as temples. While they bear a superficial resemblance to Egyptian pyramids, they are quite different in significant ways including purpose, building materials, construction techniques, and time period of construction.

These facts are not in question by those who are qualified to speak on the topic. It is sensationalists, frauds, and those who are ignorant who insist that the "truth" is being hidden (though they themselves seem unaware of the mountains of research available for them to read, or simply don't care because such research would inconveniently expose their arguments as specious) or that there must be some mysterious reason or external force inspiring human achievement.

Ancient humans were no less intelligent or capable of ingenuity and innovation as modern humans.

And to turn your question on its head: If pyramids were constructed by aliens or inspired by aliens - why? What purpose did they serve for extraterrestrials? And why are there no written records of such extraterrestrials? Why have they not made themselves known to us? Why are they not angry that they are no longer being worshiped as gods?

You are reading the wrong books. Erich von Daniken and copiers say silly things, but more reputable researchers have found that men can move large stones with primitive means. You are wrong to say men could not build the pyramids. There is no real evidence that anyone else did. Most stones in the great pyramid of Khufu weigh 2.5 tons. Many men worked a long time on pyramids. Thor Heyerdahl saw natives raise some quite large stones. You are underestimating humans, and there is no need to say ET's did everything for ancient men. Men have great imaginations, and that is more than enough to account for gods they invented that are ignorant. you need to study science and history and discard "Chariots of the Gods" that was refuted long ago. You can answer your own questions with a bit of real research.

Well actually they did a whole series on that very thing on PBS here awhile back. They built one and set it in place using the technology the eyptians had at the time. Proved it was done by ancient Eyptians as recorded.

But you might want to throw this out. In the book of revelations in the Bible it talks about Worlds on top Worlds. Pose the question did that mean countries on top of countries, or did it literally mean Different worlds from different plants.

the Egyptians built the pyramids. They though if they can build tall structures they would be closer to god.
Yes there are amazing structures which people don't know fully how they done them (don't forget Stonehenge) or even Easter Island where they don't know the full truth of how they moved the Giant Rocks but they have all been man made.Aliens never played a part but it would be nice to know the full truth of how they did some of those things.
For any evidence of extraterrestrial life forms you need to look outside our world and into others.Even this they have no proof yet.

There are way too many variable to evaluate. there is the extraterrestrial beings' theory technique (which reasons the threat of being waiting to decode their language fairly much to be fairly much 0), whether or not they think approximately us to be greater or much less sentient (much less sentient, think of us to cows), whether or not they even evaluate us to be significant sufficient to bypass to. Being technologically progressed does not inevitably recommend they are friendly. think of with regard to the Spanish whilst they bypass to the Americas. that they had horses, the thank you to keep nutrients, progressed weaponry, and all they needed grew to become into to plunder gold. Or the U. S.. we've a number of the main progressed technological know-how institutes in the worldwide. those get a trickle of investment whilst in comparison with what the government invests in militia technologies, it fairly isn't any doubt incredibly intense. the quick answer on your question: it certainly relies upon.

You've been sucked in to one of the largest hoaxes of all time. The pyramids were indeed man-made. The workers village that built them has been discovered and exivated. And its well known how they moved the blocks and stacked them into place. In reality, there is no mystery except one - why idiots keep thinking there is.

If you have not read the works of Zecharia Sitchin then you are in for a treat. His Earth Chronicles series give many pages of thought provoking evidence as to who the "Gods" were, why they needed Pyramids and what our real ancient history is as Humans of this planet.
