If your question is how to introduce data in your calculator to get a right answer, what you have to do is to write
400*[exp x]5.

Usually calculators do alone the operation e^x so you don't need to write 'e^x'.

Now, to know the number that corresponds to number e, you need to press the button " [exp] = " and it will show you number e=2.7182.......
and e^5 = (2.7182...)^5 = 148.4131....
and so 400*e^5 = 59365.2636.....

Good luck

Assuming that the "e" is actually the exponential constant, then you need to do this on a calculator. A scientific calculatior should have an e^x button, or an inverse selection and ln(x).

Q=400e ^ 5

You could also solve with natural logarithms.

Ln Q = Ln (400) + Ln (e^5)

Ln Q = Ln (400) + 5

Ln Q = Ln (400) + 5

Ln Q = 5.99146 + 5

Ln Q = 10.99146

Q = 59,365.264
