Well I can only tell you this. First of all, always refer to your document in terms or words - not pages. Referring to it in pages is unprofessional. The book si just finished is 133.326 words. In word, it came to 438 pages. The document is 892 KB.. That is with .doc in Word Format. Hope that helps. Pax - C

If it is in RTF format, you can probably fit it into 800 kilobytes.
In Word format it will be bigger---possibly twice as big.

I suggest you go to www.baen.com
This is the Baen Books website. They have whole books that you can download in various formats.
Download one book several times--once in each format.
Then compare the file sizes to the word count.
After that, a little high-school algebra should answer all your questions.

If it is only text and no photos, not much and .pdf format or .html format or both is worth considering. You need to publish the same as a ebook with a good cover etc. and promote it.
