To guason,

I'm sure this question is going to be asked again and again even after we're gone or YA ceases to exist. So don't complain about it. :) Either answer the question at hand, or ignore it and move on. Allow others with intelligent answers to post.

Absolutely not. It is rediculous to think that an illegal can obtain a legal document.

Put it this way until we actually have laws that will deal with the entire issue I would rather have them be licesenced and insured by the state then have them on the roads uninsured and unlicensed. Really do you think not giving them licesnes is going to help deter illegals away from your state. It is better to know who these people are than not. Trust me if you get into an accident and that person is an illegal and uninsured and unlicensed you are completely screwed at least this way we can ensure if something happens people will have some sort of legal recourse.

My point being they are going to be driving anyway regardless of the state issuing a DL or not. They will not be detered if you do not give them a liscense

Absolutely not. ICE should have agents stationed at license centers in New York State if they allow licenses for illegals.

This question has been asked soooooooooo many times that is not even funny. Time and time again, this country is about MONEY, and illegal immigration is a very profitable business, philosophically and financially.

No, they should not. It's not that I don't want them driving, it's that I don't like how having a DL makes them appear as though they are legal. They can use it for ID everywhere even if they're not paying taxes.
