Why it is normal (only for Americans) that Israel destroyed Palestine but it is abnormal (anti-Semite) that Palestinians fight to free their country from the Zionist occupants .

I am having difficulty deciphering what you are saying here.

Why is it normal that only Americans think Israel destroyed Palestine?

First of all, many Americans are sympathetic to Israel. They don't base this on whether or not they are Zionists--a term which I would guess 95% of the country doesn't know the meaning of--but because they are opposed to the group that blows up innocent civilians.

If Palestinians had followed the example of Gandhi and King they would be living in their own country right now. However, the groups representing them are violent and barbaric. That is why most of the world--not just a majority of Americans--are not pro-Palestinian.

For the record, I am not Zionist. I think creating Israel was a bad idea. However, it was created and it's not going anywhere. The most Palestinians can hope for is a section of it.

As it stands I'm not on your side because I do not condone the murder of civilians for political reasons. I will never be on your side as long as there are civilians being murdered.

Don't worry about the destruction of Israel just yet. If Hezbollah calls this recent fight a victory I would hate to see Lebanon after defeat. The Arabs in the middle east that see this latest fight as victory and a sign of weakness in Israel should be very care full, next time Hezbollah and or Syria tries to pull another stunt like the last one Israel wont stop after a little collateral damage. They better hope the UN force gets into Lebanon before Israel changes their mind about the ceasefire!! But to answer the question what then if someone succeeds in destroying Israel, the answer is nuclear clean-up for most of the middle east. The reason is that they only way that Israel gets destroyed is by a Nuclear Bomb followed by a successful response by Israel. Very Ugly.

Your language, "occupants", "free their country", etc.

Please explain to me what consistent set of standards and protocols you use to define what is meant by "this land belongs to us", or this is "our country".

Do you go by who got their first? Then that undoubtedly would be the Jews. Do you arbritarily say who was there 500, or 1000, or whatever years ago, owns its? Or who can hold on to it by force? Or what other criteria? Every country on this planet defined itself in less than glorious ways!!
