My temp has gone up a little more each time for the last 4 days, but it hasn't jumped more than .39.
My temps were 97.22, 97.44, 97.52, 97.91.
I got a positive OPK on the morning my temp was 97.44.
I'm using fertilityfriend as recommended by a few of you, but it says OV has not been detected yet. =/

Your temp shift should be 0.4 degrees or higher than your previous 6 temps. It should remain high for at least 3 days in a row for FertilityFriend to give you coverlines and confirm ovulation.

You could try putting in 2 more *fake* high temps into fertilityfriend for the next 2 days at about the 97.9 range and see if it gives you coverlines. Just be sure to remove the Fake temps after you see what happens.

Also, if you could post the link to your FF chart it would be helpful to actually look at the chart and I could possibly give you more info.

not necesarily. the only thinig with finding out your ovulating using the bbt method is that once the temp spikes, you have ALREADY ovulated. as u know, u must time sex BEFORE ovulation not AFTER.
the bbt method is good to keep track of your body and to see if u ovulate at the same time every month but it's not so useful to use it if youre ttc.

your best bet is an opk kit. the clear blue easy fertility kit is what i used. it tells u 24 to 48 hours BEFORE you ovulate so that way you don't miss your critical period. it is very user friendly as it prompts you when to test and it has a digital screen and it shows an egg when u ovulate.

so the reason why the fertility friend site sais not ovulated is it may be because u have already ovulated.

You have definately ovulated, but fertilityfriend only marks it as ovulation after 3 consecutive higher temps. Don't worry, in the next couple of days or so your chart will show ovulation... Good luck this month!!

Can you link your page? Go to sharing, and then home page setup. Copy the link and paste it on here. FertilityFriend takes 3 days after ovulation to detect ovultation. That is how they do it to be sure they are accurate.

***I had to delete that last part... haha I was thinking about something else when I answered. Sorry bout that.

Good luck to you in your TTC! ☺

If you chart temps 97.8 or higher for CD's 19 and 20, Fertility Friend will more than likely flag your chart as ovulated for CD 17. You need to have 3 high temps in a row in order for it to do this.

Good luck.

It could be as little as a .2 increase, example - 97.6 one day, 97.8 the next. Typically temps. before ovulation are 96.5 to 97.5, and 97.6 to 98.6 after ovulation.

I gave up on the whole BBT thing and just used an OPK. So many things can effect your tempature its hard to tell. Just because you ovualted doesnt mean your temp went up, and just bc your temp is up doesnt mean you did.
