Let's say you are in charge of assembling a cast for an ABSCBN version of Desparate Housewives, who'd you pick?
Who'd you choose for the different roles? Remember, they have to be between 45-50 years old.
The only difference I think would be if the doctor to check them was American, they'd pay more for the diagnosis...

I don't follow "desperate" but I'm familiar with one character - that played by Eva Longoria* (yeah, the one having an affair with the hunky gardener!). I think Alma Moreno would be perfect for this role - that woman screams sex appeal and her acting isn't so bad either.
Vilma Santos will certainly do justice to the role played by the "controversial" Teri Hatcher.
*Eva Longoria is married to Tony Parker of the San Antonio Spurs (NBA - sports, I do watch!).

And how about Kuh Ledesma? And the elder sister of Alex Rossi, the one married to a Congressman newly re-elected?
I really can't say with authority. Never watched that show. But I can say our beauties are better than theirs.

i don't know if these women are in the ages 45-50 but i'd pick Dina Bonnevie for Eva, Amy Austria for Marcia, Cherie Pie Picache for Felicity (the woman gotta lose some weight though!) and Alma Moreno for Teri

i dont watch the show but i do have a few names who would fit for roles in desperate housewives pinoy style. kris aquino, alma moreno, lorna tolentino and zsa zsa padilla.
we dont have to follow the US storyline, filipinos are far more talented and more creative!

Wow! to get a good attention, you have to be controvertial and the subject show did it as they intended. Very successful strategy. P.I Doctors are supposed to be professionals and a simple apology should be sufficient. I think these people are getting out of line. I am a 100% pilipino, properly educated in the U.S., making very good money, supports the educational systems in the Philippines (One of the best in the world) in my opinion. To create more trouble is uncalled for. Please don't copy other majorities who complains everything in public that crosses their way.
