In August 1942 (during World War II period),
in the Poona session of all India Congress , a reolution was passed whch read :
"Quit India" and "Do or Die".
The British Raj threw all the Congress leaders in jails all over India.They were released only in 1945!
The Hindi version was :
"Bharat chodo" and "Karo ya maro"
