Yeah.. he even had a poloroid of it.. (of the killing of the guy that broke in..)

If you watch when it hits him, he sees what happened himself.. he sees the time he injected her.. and if you watch carefully the time that his memory would go before resetting was longer at the beginning of the movie.. (which is towards the end of the plot).. so, his memory was getting better, but when he remembered what he did not want to remember, he forced himself to revert back.. So, basically, he's just going to keep going until he dies..

I'm sure people have their own opinions, but I truly believe that Teddy was the only one telling the truth. As evident when Leonard altered Teddy's picture to read "Don't trust his lies", Leonard often helped invent his own sub-reality. He seemed to prefer what he believed to be true rather than the truth.

I have been browsing the internet more than two hours today seeking the answer to the same question, and I haven't found any interesting discussion like this. It's pretty worth enough for me.

He probably is, because Lenny is definitely lying to himself.
Did you notice how every time he gets out of his car he locks it with the remote, like he's been doing it all his life? But it's not his car.
