I suppose this is more a matter of opinion than anything else but is one a subtype of the other? Example: for a month or so after my dad died, every time (literally) I thought to look up at my clock and the temperature on the dash in my camry, it read either 4:54 54* or 5:45 54 or 4:54 45 or 5:45 45 you get the point. Is this a coincidence or synchronicity? Thanks.

You imagine you have a fixed driving pattern, meaning you're in the car the same time of day frequently. That alone would limit the possible times you would see on your clock. And your local climate/season determines what the temperature will be. If you look at your clock in Death Valley at 4:45pm in the middle of August and is says it's 45 degrees outside you may be on to something. However, I think all you are experiencing here is confirmation bias, or else simple coincidence. I mean, if you looked up at 5:45 and the temperature was 62 degrees you're not as likely to remember it as you would if it were 45 degrees.

I am sorry you lost your father, but I don't see what this has to do with his death.

Syncronicity is usually considered a type of coincidence. That is a syncronicity implies two things that coincidentally tie together and appear to be related, even though logic tells us otherwise. For example, playing Pink Floyds Dark Side of the Moon and watching The Wizard of Oz. The soundtrack of the tape seems to line up with the movie. This is Syncronicity.
Your experience is a syncronicity, and its not uncommon for people to have a particular time that they look at the clock.
The most popular is 11:11, and if you search around on the internet for 11:11 you will find that lots of people become obsessed with seeing this number on digital clocks.
Some people see 9:11, or some other time that for some reason stands out or means something to them.
My wife sees triple digits, 1:11, 2:22, 5:55 etc.

when you start seeing numbers repeatedly, they usually have a meaning behind it, specially when someone is passed over...im sure these numbers will link you up to something...a message for you...another good thing to help you understand in this kind of phenonemen is to watch a movie called The Celestine Prophecy...by james redfield...or read his books...ive experienced seeing the same number for a long time and sure enough it had a message for me....if there was nothing behind it then id not take notice,,,but there was..so my advice look deeper into these same numbers that show themselves to you, you,ll be surprised at how the cosmics pass on messages to you......sorry for the loss of your father.....the celestine prophecy is all about coincidences and synchronicity and how they lead us along a path, coincidences that happen to steer us in that direction or mostly to give us answers...if you go into celestine vision im sure you,ll meet lots of wonderful people who have so many insights into this sort of thing, one thing i learnt...there are no such things as coincidences... i am sure these numbers you are seeing will link you up to your father in some way....

great question madhavi:) you already know however those words sound synonimous yet nonetheless there lies a "deep" distinction !! Happiness could be chanced on of issues which won't additionally be effective to our religious or psychological component like we would bypass out & have our well-liked dish & outfits etc., we'd sense happy. yet delight comes from a sort of achievent, if we get solid grades in study we'd get a super feeling that asserts "annoying observe paid off" now thats greater effective isn't it ;p[ Now peace.... i think of it relies upon on what physique of strategies we undertake towads the "events" we do for "happiness" or the two "delight", peace certainly exist in our self, it in basic terms should be chanced on by skill persons. a guy or woman of lack of wisdom would sense peace on an identical time as a annoying worker would desire to be strresed. this is even oposite to that . So peace needs to chanced on by skill persons.

The term "coincidence" is used when one is unfamiliar with reality sufficiently to use the term "synchronicity". For those unfamiliar with the concept and operational reality of Karma and in particular Fate Karma, their MINDs feed the left-hemisphere of their brains Delusional Thoughts that cause them to "think" that what they are seeing is coincidence.

This allows them to imagine that what they experience has no understandable reason for its occurrence. Therefore the term "coincidence" is used by most people while the term "synchronicity"is used by few people.

Carl Jung used the term synchronicity to refer to certain phenomena he was observing that habitually occurred in sequence. When A occurred, then B always occurred as well. They appeared to him to be in synch with one another. And of course they were.

Your Father, due to his attachment to you, would be able [if you are psychically open enough] to communicate MIND TO MIND with you and "suggest" that you look at the clock. I refer to this MIND to MIND communication as DEc, or Direct Esoteric communication. Nothing "unusual" about this except to those whose fear of the "Unknown" Esoteric realms within themselves causes their MINDs to issue thoughts of caution or condemnation when faced with such phenomena.

Peace

i looked up definitions of both words and found they were quite similar. both mean an occurence of two events that seem related, but have a sense of being unexplained. my own connotation is that synchronicity has more to do with patterns and coincidence is more random, but that's my own interpretation, not the dictionary's.

hello, i would strongly recommend the numbers you see tie up to your father in some way. When we start to notice specially numbers always think of when you first started noticing them. In your case you started to notice them after your father died. He is proberly trying to let you know something. If they keep appearing to you, id recommend you try and work out what they stand for. Alot of people come across numbers that have some meaning to them. Goodluck

when theres 3 of something you know it's a synchronicity. There really is no coincidence though, everything in this universe comes together perfectly.
