Yes, it's because the Physics card is seperate from the video card. This means it doesn't matter what the video card is because the physics card manages physics and not video.

Not sure if I am allowed to do this, so I appologise in advance if I am not. However which Physx card is the best one to get as I saw a few makes of them ie from the likes of Asus etc.

Also what games support the Physx card or is there a definitive list somewhere ?

Also how much does one of these cost and where can someone get it from ?

Sorry for not giving you an answer to your question.

Got this link from my question which is in the other hardware section.

A physics card won't be neccesarry, actually very few video games even help it... so it would for the main section be a ineffective addition that could in straightforward terms serve to fee you many hundred money and take in a useful PCI slot. it may be like paying for a sparkling sort of dvd participant that expenses 600 money extra effective than a universal one that has a similar features via fact the extra value-effective version and isn't any longer supported by any significant studios and has in straightforward terms 4 or 5 video clips available in that format; do you even like all of those video clips, you ought to ask your self "are there any video games that i admire or ought to like that help a physics accelerator" if there are and you're captivated with having the suitable photographs with out slowing down your processor then decide for it. for my section i do no longer think of it fairly is neccesarry, yet once you fairly have some extra money to do away with or are worried approximately processor speed then get it, yet once you do no longer you may continually get it later.

Yes as the first person said, it is an entirely seperate entity, so it has no concern whether your video card is AGP or PCI-Express. The Ageia card will run in a PCI slot. Make sure you have a game that will support it though, most do not, and if the game doesn't make use of it, it does nothing.
