Hi there. So, weird question:
I do ovulate: (positive OPK, ovulation on fertilityfriend, high temps, ovulation pain)
So i know i ovulate every cycle on day 15 that means i release an egg, so does that mean the egg is "totally" released or can you ovulate and have blocked tubes and the egg doesnt come out, but still you ovulated or do you only ovulate if the egg makes it all the way out?!

Weird i know?

Ovulation is when the follicle ruptures and releases the egg. However, it is very possible for the egg to be released, but it is not picked up by the fallopian tube or to get *stuck* in a blocked tube. It is also possible for only 1 of your tubes to be blocked and therefore you can still get pregnant if the egg goes into the good tube.
For example, if a woman has had a tubal ligation and had her tubes tied, she still ovulates every cycle and has normal periods, but the sperm and egg can't meet up in the fallopian tube.
There is a test that can determine if your tubes are blocked, Hysterosalpingogram, or commonly called an HSG.

Ovulation is the release of the egg from the follicle it was ripening in. I 'm pretty sure that part still happens regardless of whether you tubes are blocked or not. The egg just doesn't make it out of the tube and would be absorbed by your body after it dies.
