Just playing the baby name game. If I ever have a little girl I am thinking of giving her a name that ends in "la".... Some I have thought of are :
Alela
Talula
Lula
my mother loves Lulu, but not sure about it.
Would love your opinions or suggestions of unsual names.
:)

To me, Lulu is a nickname for something that begins with Lu, like Louisa. Tallulah isn't terrible, but it makes me think of a large black woman, to be honest. Alela, I have no idea how to pronounce.
Aniela
Arabella
Calla
Carmela
Daniela
Finola
Fabiola
Fiorella
Graciela
Kamala
Luella -With Luella, you could nickname her Lulu.
Sybilla
Viola
Natalia -not exactly an -la ending, but it's very pretty sounding, and close to that ending.
My favorites on this list for you are:
Luella
Viola
Graciela
Fiorella
In that order. Good luck with your search!

I love the name Layla... when I first found out I might be having a girl but they werent a 100%, I nicknamed the baby Layla (as in Layla Ali) because in one of the pics they took for me, she had her hands up like a boxer... :)

All love stories are stereotypical. What matters is the journey, how well you express the characters, and their struggle. Just because a tale goes by the numbers doesn't mean it can be any less engaging. It all depends on the quality of the writing.
