First off, let me tell you I'm a big time Halloween fan, and I go all out every year. One of my more different costumes I wore was when I I once dressed as a parrot for a Halloween party. I got a red long sleeve leotard, orange tights, rubber kitchen gloves to make my feet look like birds feet. a couple different colored feathered boas (red, blue, yellow) which I pinned over my red leotard, and parrot wings that were already put together (any Halloween store carries these wings). I put my hair in a bun sprayed my hair red then put a red feather, like a headband over my hairline. I then, stuck a beak over my nose with the glue that comes with it, I used a red face paint stick to create feather looking marks on my face, then lightly powdered my face with and orange-red colored eyeshadow. I know it seems like a lot of work, but it really wasn't. It was a huge hit, trust me you won't have the same costume as anyone else. It ended up costing me around $50, which is pretty much what every packaged costume goes for... Good Luck finding a costume and have fun at the party!
