Hey dcikmo,
You should stop being nice. It gets you nowhere. Mark H gets bonus points for the creativity with which he insulted you..... however, he loses 89359783475983 points because he took the time to actually email someone on Yahoo answers to insult them.
As far as the Pats fans go.... yeah, they're ridiculous. 4 games into the season... UNDEFEATED BABYYYYY!!!! WOOOO!!!! Remember the 2003 season? After 4 weeks, your Partiots were 2-2... and then they won 15 in a row, including the Super Bowl. Ironically, the Colts started out 5-0 that year..... needless to say, it didn't end quite as well for them.
The point is it's way too early into the season to be making these predictions. After 10 or 11 weeks, we can start talking.... same goes for the "best team ever" argument. I highly doubt you could ever convince me they're the best ever, even if they go undefeated (they won't, but I'm just saying).
As far as the "best QB ever," you really can't give anyone that title. I could say that I believe Jim McMahon is the best qb ever, and I could defend it (probably better than most people on here could defend Brady). You could site statistics, wins, etc., but if I'm that arrogant, I'm never going to change my mind. Obviously, I don't think McMahon is really the best qb ever, but I think people's loyalty to their team cloud their eyes when evaluating players. Only unbiased observers could truly choose a best ever, and even then, the answers would all be different. Theres no such thing as the "best quarterback ever."

The "Going undefeated" crap really gets me. I doubt we will ever see a team go undefeated again. It's just not likely. What really gets me is we are FOUR games into the season and they are saying this BS. Even sportscaster have the decency to wait until week ten or eleven! And honestly if I was a fan and they got to 13-0, or 14-0 and had already clinched home field advantage, a bi and all that, I'd want them to rest the big guns in the last games! I could care less about 16 wins if the playmakers are too banged up to win it all. How anti-climatic. I'm a Colts fan, and a few years back when they were making a run at 16-0, even I said "It won't happen!" Trust me I took some serious flack from other fans, but I just knew how unlikely it was. I love my team but realism is necessary.
The other thing that bothers me is the bandwagon riders, but then again that bothers me about my own team!
p.s. what is a "dcikmo?" Even if you assume he meant "dickmo" what is that exactly?

Ya know, I don't mind them saying that they think the Patriots are the best ever or that Tom Brady is the greatest thing on Earth. God knows I'd be doing the same sort of thing if the Chiefs were on a run like the Patriots are. I'd just like some of them to show a little respect for other people. It seems there are some Pats fans that feel if you disagree with them, thats a good reason to just be a total a$$. Respect, thats all I'm looking for. Support your team the best you can, but do it without being a complete jerk to anyone that doesn't like the Patriots or might think that Manning is better than Brady - which is like the coke vs. pepsi argument, it will never be settled.

I think that despite the fact that the Pats have been involved in some controversey, keep in mind that signal stealing has been in this and every game for as long as sports have been around. If people honestly believe they are/were the only team doing this then you obviously have never been on a sports team. That being said you can not argue that the Pats are a dynasty. They are the team of the decade. Just like the Cowboys and 49ers before them. I don't know that they'll go undefeated...but to be honest I, and many football fans around me, will be very surprised when/if they lose. It'll be a huge story on the news that the Pats finally lost because they're the favorites in every game this year. Name a weakness on this team? Exactly....

That the word EVER means in the entire history of football which would rule out Tom Brady being the best ever and the pats being the best team ever and that they will not go undefeated because even if they did go say 15-0 why would you risk moss and brady getting hurt in the final game of the season reasonable coaches would say umm il save him for the playoffs thanks! Also i am not sure what a "dcikmo" is so its a little embarrasing he couldnt use a good word to insult you! :) oh well i still love my fellow pats fans!!
smile your on candid camera!!!!!

In all reality, they will not go undefeated this year. Hopefully people realize how impossible this feat is. What team, if any, has gone undefeated in a professional football season? The Colts were 14-0 last season when the Cowboys gave them their first loss. The Cowboys are definitely capable of handing New England their first loss also. It will be a good game. BUt I'm going for Dallas by a close margin.

I am a die hard colts fan, and I think the pats fans are fine just the way they are. they don't apologize for kickin' your teams tail, and they don't make excuses for losing. I would lose a ton of respect for any pat fan that said manning was better than brady. If you don't believe that your guy is the best, maybe you are not really a fan. I'll go to my grave fully convinced that manning is better than brady and expect no less from the pat faithful. The fact is that most of the NFL stinks right now and the pats and colts are the two teams that have been able to win consistently. I can't wait for week nine. You know that both teams are going to bring the wood.

I think that fans are supposed to be biased towards their team- its the power of intention and positive thinking- thinking that your team is the best. Why shouldnt fans be allowed to be excited about being undefeated? players and fans dont make the schedule so are they only allowed to be excited about being undefeated in seasons when someone decided to give them a tougher schedule? To the person above who clearly knows nothing about strokes, losing a large amount of weight is an obvious side effect. You couldnt have picked on a nicer player.

It's amazing.
Even in answers to this question, Patriots fans are coming out and justifying Belichick's actions with the extremely weak, "Everybody does it!" whine. You all seriously sound like 4 year olds.
Yes, I understand signal stealing is part of sports. But when the league creates rules against certain types of signal stealing, and then makes those rules a point of emphasis to league owners and rules officials in summer owners meetings, it is then time to quit stealing signals in the manner described in that written rule.
Bill Belichick showed so much contempt for the league's administration and its rules that he thumbed his nose at this rule and the emphasis on it that he blatently violated it in the very first game of the season!
No other head coach in the league was fined $500,000 for violating this rule. The Commissioner did not consider suspending any other head coach in the league for violating this rule. No other team owner was fined $250,000.
NOT EVERYBODY IS ACTING LIKE BILL BELICHICK!
He could have been one of the great coaches ever. But instead, because of how he has blatantly disrespected the league and its rules, he is nothing more than a cheater.

I wish they would realize how annoying they are. And the Colts fans only annoy Terry because the Colts beat his team twice last year.
I wish they would all admit that their coach and quarterback are poor sports and act like children when they lose. I watched them snub the Colt's coaches and players on national TV after the playoff loss last year. You all should be embarrassed of your team.
