I don't hink that The Sixth Sense would be too scary for a 13 yr old's party, but I think everyone would enjoy The Mummy movies more. They move a little faster and are more exciting. The Sixth Sense is a great movie, but it moves a little slowly and you really have to watch it closely to understand what is going on. As someone who was once 13, I can tell you I would have liked the mummy movies best at that age. : )

To be perfectly honest, The Sixth Sense may be a little too "grown-up" for 13-year-olds. I know some adults who still don't understand that movie! Although The Mummy can have its moments when it comes to "scary" scenes, I think it's just much better for that age group. Plus, it's a LOT funnier and more light-hearted than The Sixth Sense.

Sixth Sense isn't too scary, but I'd stick with the Mummy movies, because you don't know what the other kids' parents allow. Or just call the other parents and find out their opinion. Have Fun!

The Mummy - there is more action and comedy. With the sixth sense, you really have to watch it to get the "surprise ending" and I'v enever been to a party where everyone sat around and silently watched a movie.

The 6th Sense would be perfect for a 13 year old's party! It's all about scary things and boys. What more could a girl hope for?

Well, it all depends on the kids, their parents and how seriously you take the warning:

Rated PG-13: PARENTS STRONGLY CAUTIONED—Some material may be inappropriate for children under 13.

I'd certainly ask the parents of the kids involved - You're opening yourself up to a world of hurt if even one child has nightmares and the parents think you made an innapropriate choice.

But my money would definately be on The Mummy - More Action-Thriller than Psycho-Killer

13 is old enought to watch the 6th sense. Too young would probably be 9 or 10, maybe 11.

I think it can be scary when the ghosts appear. Also, it's kind of a dark, somber movie. I think the Mummy would be a lot more fun for a kids b-day party.

Sixth Sense! its a very nice movie.. but 13yr old (boys) might prefer mummy movies.
Sixth sense is kind of slow moving movie.
