I hope they lose again so that we can hear them crying the blues again.
Hmmm, maybe thats why the blues are so strong in Chicago?

Pathetic isn't it. 99 years and it's apparently all the fault of a guy with a goat and a goofy looking kid named Bartman.

You don't lose baseball games because of a curse, you lose them because you suck.

I saw on Cubs.com, an article from Mike Bauman, and he wrote Cubs curse is just a scapegoat. And I am sure that this is all in his own opinion, so it seems to me that the Chicago Cubs fans has to find something to blame on for thier team not winning the world series, in almnost 100 years. Next year will be the 100th aniversitty of the Chicago Cub's 2nd and so far last World Series victory. But since you aren't a Chicago Cubs fan, then why do you care? Maybe they should just blame the team, from never having the urge of ending thier long drought of not winning the World Series, I mean sure they are going to say that they want to win the World Series, but they will never prove it, they will sit around and wait for somebody to give it to them. But that is not the way it works, you have to earn it. And after the headline of that, on the bottom The real curse is being out-hit, out-pitched or out-managed. But if you want to take a look at the article, please be my guest, and I will have the URL for the artictle in the source. And when I say I am going too have ti there, it will.

Much of the history of baseball is based on superstition and it is part of the lure of the game. The curse of the Bambino in Boston, The curse of William Penn against all professional teams in Philadelphia, and many more. Why do you believe that Cubs fans are losers when many fans of all the other teams have fun with this as well?

I agree that they just can't seem to think that the players could actually just stink so they blame it on a stupid supposed curse. I think the past cubs have joined the team with the attitude that the team is cursed so they couldn't make it to the world series, let alone win it, so that has affected their playing.

Cubs fans in general are NOT losers -- it's just the team. I, though not a Cubs fan, have mad respect for people who stick with a team that can find a way to lose in any situation. It's called being a fan, not bandwagoning.

Easier to blame others than look in the mirror. You never want to think you could be at fault! It's the goats fault, Bartman's fault...it is always something!

Blame Bartman, not the shortstop that kicked the ball into the stands on a routine DP!!!
