Cooper was performance-art and rock-n-roll merged into a groundbreaking, legendary package.
After Ted Nugent's initial two outstanding solo efforts, he seemed to fall into a parody of the 1960s-styled guitar hero/heavy metal rocker...which he never really emerged out of, and had to reinvent himself as a FM DJ, along with yet another parody, this time of Stallone's Rambo character.
Cooper in a no contest.

Alice Cooper. He's one of my all-time favorites. I grew up listening to him. That might explain a few things about me...lol.
