The base-runner may leave the base when the pitched ball reaches the batter (not home plate, not the catcher). If the runner leaves early, he reutrns to the base and is not out.

In Little League, a base runner may just do anything! I love to watch those kids do the things they do. It's really cute.

Depends what level. When I played, up to age 12 had to wait for the pitch to cross the plate. 13 & up could run on the pitcher's windup.

the 1st answer that stated a runner is out the 2d he passes yet another runner is right. it fairly is not appropriate in case then you cease and enable the runner you surpassed touch the subsequent base first. you're out as quickly as you pass the runner...era.
