I had stuff thrown at me from Ohio St. dorms while wearing a U of M shirt. I wore the same shirt to a Notre Dame Friday night pep rally and no one even said a word to me. Illini fans are feisty, Wisconsin fans are spirited. What was your worst experience as a visiting fan?

jwsnyder as a Buckeye fan wished I had been killed. They really are a demented subspecies of human vermin.

I had things thrown at me at OSU when I busted out my Penn State stuff....not nearly as bad as what I've watched Michigan fans put up with

I find most of the taunting funny.
Footballs being thrown at my head isn't a lot of fun...and had I caught one and ran, I probably would of gotten my self killed...so I'm glad things have worked out like they have

I also wore PSU gear to the OSU Michigan game last year and people just looked at me and kinda got a puzzled look on their faces....
...got a lot of "Penn State sucks"
it was a hell of an experience.....riot helicopters and at least 8 cops on every block....

Ole Miss Rebel fans are the absolute bottom. I went to a game a few years back, on a neutral site (with free tickets, and no interest in either team). The OM fans were cheering the injuring of other teams players, and then were getting p*ssed off when the coach wouldn't run up the score. It was a sad, classless day.

as a guy in the middle of SEC country.. and an Auburn fan I have to admit that SEC fans usually take the prize on this one.. last Saturday they were all over Byrum in Gainesville before his kick (some of them coeds were making indecent proposals if he missed even)..

Alabama following losses constantly throw bottles.. and David Irons had to go to the emergency room after a bottle hit him in the eye last year.. and Georgia players were greeted with whiskey bottles after their overtime win 2 weeks ago

LSU is the top though.. they throw stuff.. attack busses.. and basically undermine any class that might be attributed to a fan of football

of course Auburn has their share as well.. the USF Bulls were peppered with Shakers (pom-poms) although I seriously don't think that's quite as bad as whiskey bottles..

life on the road.. and in the SEC, it's a rowdy road.. fans take football seriously and if you watch closely during a big game there are TONS of police and security personnel.. there have been times when games have been close to riots..

I would say Arizona State fans were the worst ever, and FSU fans were actually pretty nice. As for the Ohio State dorm thing, as a buckeye fan I am sorry whatever they threw didn't kill you. Muck Fichigan.

Florida is bad. I used to go to FSU and we would travel for the big game. LSU fans are pretty bad too. I live in Arkansas now and last year the LSU fans were throwing bacon at us at our own stadium. That is ballsy. Although Hog fans do some pretty crappy things to the LSU fans as well.

tennesse fans will pour urine on you from the stands above

halfwaytoeverywhere you obviously have never been to a game in gainesville, the people are very friendly there they love their team but they are not vulger and they treat other fans with more class than anywhere i have been, and i have been to every SEC school and many others

juice your right all schools have their fair share of bad guys
but i have been going to games since the 60's and everytime i am in gainesville the people are always very nice for the most part i think its mostly the students everywhere that are the bad apples
and as far as FSU fans there is definatly a rivalry with florida but most of us are neighbors and family, i don't think either of them do anything too bad, that would physically hurt someone

Florida fans unless you like liquor bottles and piss balloons upside your head.

Bobby Brady must be joking or delusional because it is widely known throughout the SEC not to take your children to Gainesville because of the lack of class. Oh yeah, Tennessee has 2 e's on the end.

In all truthfulness every school has classless fans. It's all in the luck of the draw in where you sit and tailgate if you have a good experience or not.
