Yes! It's way too confusing to try and learn about it when you're younger. The rest of the world uses it so we should too.

Having lived and travelled in various countries throughout the world, I agree that metric is the way to go. Metric makes things so much easier, and it's annoying ordering house plans made in the US and then trying to use them to build a house in Mexico and you can't get proper materials because everything in Mexico is metric (ie meters and centimeters) but everything in the US is imperial (ie inches, feet, and yards). Metric has easy conversions (ie 100 cm = 1 m or 1000 m = 1 km) but there is no correlation at all in imperial (inches, feet, yards, and miles have virtually no connection). I wish the US would stop being so arrogant at times and do stuff that actually makes sense, but from what I've seen Americans tend to be the most stubborn people in the world (and I am American myself, yet I recognize this fact).

I think it would be WAY too difficult for people to function if they decided to change it...but I also think it's a HUGE reason why students are so behind in Science...because we're learning a NEW math (Metric) and we're learning science....
It definitely would make sense to start children EARLY in learning both the metric and the system that we use now.

Yes! the only reason we don't is that it would cost billions of dollars to convert all the machinery that produce things like 2"x4" lumber or 3/8" bolt to metric standards.
Otherwise it would be a simple conversion.

Yes, of course they should. The imperial system is just ridiculous and stupid and there's no good reason to keep it. Metric is so much easier to use there's really no comparison.
