Great article by former Knesset member Uri Avnery

AIPAC and the Anti Defamation League with the help of the "Liberal" intelligentsia have waged a three decade campaign against free speech on the issue of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Have they been successful? Are Americans so brainwashed they are incapable of understanding the plight of the Palestinians? Why are Americans supporting genocide in Gaza?

No genocide going on? You would make the nazis proud. You would make Golda Meir proud ("There is no such thing as a Palestinian) and even Netanyahu (who called Palestinians "Two-legged beasts").

Palestinians are being ethnically cleansed. Slowly driven from their land. Starved. It is a Holocaust with great Public Relations. Americans seem to support any crime that has a good commercial.

I repeat. Palestinians are being murdered by the hundreds, imprisoned, tortured and humiliated in their own land. It may be slow, for the benefit of deniers, but it is still genocide.

Islamic Legal Scholar Says Iraq Needs American Presence for Stability and Defense Quote: Abd Al-Hamid Al-Ansari, the former dean of Islamic Law at Qatar University

"I ask you, who are most of the victims of suicide operations and terrorism - the Muslims or the non-Muslims? They are Muslims. The number of people killed by Muslims carrying out suicide operations is far greater than those killed by the Americans or the Israelis."

So who is commiting genocide?
Face it your brainwashed what to fix do a little reading about Israel and you will find out they give more human rights to all people living in thier country.

MYTH

“Palestinians living under ‘occupation’ have the lowest standard of living in the Middle East.”

FACT

When Israel captured the West Bank and Gaza Strip in 1967, officials took measures to improve the conditions that Palestinians had lived under during Jordan’s 19-year occupation of the West Bank, and Egypt’s occupation of Gaza. Universities were opened, Israeli agricultural innovations were shared, modern conveniences were introduced, and health care was significantly upgraded. More than 100,000 Palestinians were employed in Israel, and were paid the same wages as Israeli workers, which stimulated economic growth.

The rise in violence during the 1990s, and then the war instigated by Palestinian terrorists beginning in 2000, has taken a heavy toll on the Palestinian economy. To protect its citizens from suicide bombers and other terrorists, Israel was forced to take measures that had a deleterious impact on the economy in the Palestinian Authority. The most serious step was to limit the number of Palestinian workers entering Israel to reduce the risk of terrorists pretending to be workers slipping into the country. This raised the level of unemployment, which, in turn, had a negative spillover effect on the rest of the Palestinian economy.

Despite the collapse of the PA economy from the last five years of war, Palestinian Arabs are still better off than many of their neighbors. The most recent Human Development Report from the United Nations ranks the PA 102nd in terms of life expectancy, educational attainment and adjusted real income out of the 177 countries and territories in the world, placing it in the “medium human development” category along with most of the other Middle Eastern states (only the Gulf sheikdoms are ranked “high”). The PA is ranked just 12 places below Jordan and one behind Iran; it is rated ahead of Syria (#105), Algeria (#108), Egypt (#120), and Morocco (#125).31

Few Palestinians would trade places with Arabs in neighboring countries. Well, perhaps, with one exception. They might aspire to the standard of living in the country ranked 22nd by the UN – Israel.

Yes. Can you name ONE thing the Israelis have done for the USA, ever? We have given them our jets, military intel, billions and billions of dollars, and this while they are selling our intel to them to the Chinese and once to the North Koreans. And don't forget they were selling military stuff to the Iranians even AFTER the Iranians took the embassy employees hostage. And since you mentioned Palestine - what the Israelis are doing to the Palenstinians is apartheid - period. And the USA has signed off on this abuse. The USA stops writing blank checks to the Israelis, and we will have friends in the mid-East that mean something.

If that's genocide, they're doing a pretty crappy job of it. Maybe they should hire some Islamic consultants to teach them how a genocide is supposed to be run. Maybe Chemical Ali is available, he's not doing much these days.

I didn't realize Israel was so inefficient that it would take them 30 years to carry out a genocide and still not have significantly reduced the number of Palestinians. You'd think if they were actually committing genocide, there'd be hardly any Palestinians left by now.

But, of course, there is no genocide being committed, it's just a word anti-Zionists like to throw out to get people's emotions riled up.
